Account Manager-Software Sales in Manassas, VA

SPEC Innovations, a leading provider of model-based systems engineering tools, is seeking a skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a portfolio of accounts, primarily in the engineering industry, to promote and sell our software solution, Innoslate.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Understand customer needs and tailor software solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Innoslate.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and identify new business opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Utilize a CRM system to track customer interactions, manage sales pipelines, and forecast revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer support and assist customers throughout the entire sales process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in successful software sales, preferably in the engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of model-based systems engineering concepts and related software tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in managing a large number of customer accounts simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in using them to track sales activities.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address customer needs.
- Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings and industry events.
Location
Work location is on-site in Manassas, Virginia.
